Capitalism distinguishes between the owner, who contributes his capital and obtains all the benefits, and the workers, who contribute their labor force and collect a salary for it. There is no more personal relationship between these two groups of people: the worker goes to the factory for a few hours, charges a previously stipulated salary, and returns home to make his life.
In manorialism (feudalism) the relationship between the master and the worker is not limited to the strictly labor: they agree the fief; and the two groups have more or less intense personal relationships.
