"But I have heard, Mr. Holmes, that you can see deeply into the manifold wickedness of the human heart. You may advise me how to walk amid the dangers which encompass me" This is really the only option that actually portrays the theme of "evil" Mr. Holmes can see the wickedness of the human heart, which could in some way make him evil, and he advices him to "walk amid the dangers which encompass me" Which I think means to accept whatever misfortune and wickedness that shall appear in his life.

The second option doesn't talk about anything evil relating, just the heirs were wasteful and the family ruin was completed.

The final option also isn't evil related, it is just talking about how someone suffered imprisonment and returned home in disappointment.

Answer is the first option:

"But I have heard, Mr. Holmes, that you can see deeply into the manifold wickedness of the human heart. You may advise me how to walk amid the dangers which encompass me"
