Step-by-step explanation:

At room temperature (anywhere from zero degree centigrade to 100 degrees centigrade), water is found in a liquid state. This is because of the tiny, weak hydrogen bonds which, in their billions, hold water molecules together for small fractions of a second. Water molecules are constantly on the move.

Answer: when at room temperature, water remains a liquid because the molecules aren't moving super fast or super slow

Explanation: for water to become a solid it must be frozen, then the molecules are barely moving and are vibrating in place. for water to be a gas the water has to be 100 degrees farenheight, which is like boiling, and then it turns to a steam which is a gas. so water is liquid at room temperature because the molecules aren't moving super fast or super slow. hope this helps
