d= diameter of semicircle= 10 ft
Therefore, r= d/2 = 10/2= 5 ft. r^2= 25
And, the formula for area of a semicircle is half that of a circle so,
A/2= [(pie=3.14) x r^2] /2
= [3.14 x 25 ] /2
= 39.25 m
