we know that

If two angles form a linear pair, then their sum is equal to 180 degrees (supplementary angles)

so

(2x-30)°+(x-12)°=180°

Solve for x

3x=180°+42°

3x=222°

x=74°

The measure of the angles are

(2x-30)°=2(74)-30=118°

(x-12)°=74-12=62° -----> smaller angle
