x_(M) = - 2

Multiply both sides by 2

8 +
x_(R) = - 4 ( subtract 8 from both sides )


x_(R) = - 12

y_(R) ) =
y_(M) = 6

Multiply both sides by 2

- 10 +
y_(R) = 12 ( add 10 to both sides )


y_(R) = 22

The coordinates of R = (- 12, 22 )
