A cylinder has a diameter of 7 and height of 10.4 . What is its total surface area to two decimal places

Answer:

305.68

Explanation:

π = 3.14(aka pi)

d=diameter

h=height

^=exponent

The formula for doing this types of problem is 2π d/2h + 2π(d/2)^2. So all you do is fill in the diameter and height of the variable.

2π 7/2(10.4) + 2π(7/2)^2=305.68
