Quadratic formula:

$x=(-b\pm√(b^2-4ac))/(2a)$

Input the corresponding numbers:

$x=(-12\pm√(12^2-4(1)(32)))/(2(1))$

Solve:

x=(-12+√(12^2-4(1)(32)))/(2(1))\\ x = -4\\ \\ x=(-12-√(12^2-4(1)(32)))/(2(1))\\ x=-8

So, the solutions are x = -4 and x = -8
