What is the Pythagorean Theorem? Provide the equation and an explanation as to what it means.

Answer: a^2+b^2 (factored) = c^2

Explanation:

This only helps if you are solving for the hypotenuse.

Answer:

The Pythagorean Theorem is a squared + b squared = c squared. It is used to find out a side of a triangle if you already know the two others. C is always the H=hypotenuse, while the other two sides are a and b.
