x ≥ 6

Explanation:

Lets solve the first inequality:

7x - 6 > 8

7x > 8 + 6

7x > 14

x > 14/7

x > 2

And now the second inequality:

3x + 4 ≥ 22

3x ≥ 22 - 4

3x ≥ 18

x ≥ 18/3

x ≥ 6

So, from the 2 answers, which region is overlapping ?? x ≥ 6

So this is the solution.

Note: we disregard x from 2 to 6 because that region is ONLY solution to the first one
