\frac{\text{Sum of all the numbers}}{\text{Total numbers }}

Now the given set of temperatures is 6, -7, -5, 5, -8, 3

Now Sum of all numbers = 6 + (-7) + (-5) + 5 + (-8) + 3

= (-6)

Total numbers = 6

Now average temperature will be =
(-6)/(6)=(-1)

Therefore, average temperature listed will be (-1).
