Answer:

The answer is: I don't have the options to choose one, what I do know are the effects that alcohol causes in the short and long term in the brain.

Step-by-step explanation:

The first effects that a person who has consumed alcohol at any dose may experience include motor disturbances, difficulty walking, slow reaction times or diffuse speech.

There are also a series of more serious consequences that appear between the first moments of alcohol consumption until after hours or even days after ingestion. These effects are as follows:

1. Emotional changes.

2. Memory lapses.

3. Loss of consciousness.

4. Impulsivity.

Long-term effects. Any of the effects of alcohol in the long term can be maintained over time when consumption changes from being punctual to recurring. Some of these long-term effects are the following:

1. Development of emotional disorders.

2. Limit brain development in adolescents.

3. Destruction of neurons.

4. Damage to the hippocampus.

5. Psychosis.

6. Wernicke-Korsakoff syndrome.

The answer is: I don't have the options to choose one, what I do know are the effects that alcohol causes in the short and long term in the brain.
