Explanation:

y=m₁x+b₁ ⊥ y=m₂x+b₂ ⇔ m₁×m₂ = -1

{Two lines are perpendicular if the product of theirs slopes is equal -1}

y = ²/₅x + 1 ⇒ m₁ = ²/₅

²/₅m₂ = -1 ⇒ m₂ = -⁵/₂

So, any line with slope m = -⁵/₂ will be perpendicular to y = ²/₅x + 1
