Why was the bill of rights considered necessary? The bill of rights consist of the first 10 amendments and are considered necessary because these are "the laws that allow us to go about our daily life's such as religion, speech, etc..." Also would consider the bill of rights necessary because if we didn't have the 10 amendments we won't have the rights we have today.
