Evaluate the functions f(x)= -2x+7 at the indicated values. A) find f(3)
B) find f(-5)

To find the answers, we can put the numbers as x.

A) f(x)= -2x+7, when f(3)

f(3) = -2(3)+7

=-6+7

=1

Therefore f(3) = 1

B) f(x)= -2x+7, when f(-5)

f(-5)= -2(-5)+7

=10+7

=17

Therefore f(-5) = 17
