2x+y= 6 -> y= -2x+6
X+y= 4 -> y= -x +4

Try (2,2)

1. 2= -2(2) + 6
2 = 2

2. 2= -2 + 4
2=2

So (2,2) is satisfied both equations. Let see if the others do too.

Try (4,0)

1. 0= -2(4) + 6
0=0

2. 0= 4+4

So 4,0 is not satisfied both

(2,2) is the answer

Hope this helps!
