(NOTE I PUT THE GRAPH IN SO PLZ HELP )The graph shows the amount of water that remains in a barrel after it begins to leak. The variable x represents the number of days that have passed since the barrel was filled, and y represents the number of gallons of water that remain in the barrel.

What is the slope of the line

Formula for slope is y2-y1/x2-x1

Make the first set of coordinates (x1,y1) and second set (x2,y2). It doesn’t matter which coordinate is 1 or 2 just pick one to go first and do the same thing for the next step.

The y1 coordinate is 33 and the y2 coordinate is 15

The x1 coordinate is 6 and the x2 coordinate is 15.

Now put these numbers into formula for slope but make sure you include the negative or subtraction (minus) sign since this is part of the original formula.

15-33/15-6

15-33 = -18
15-6 =9

-18/9 = -2

Answer: -2

Explanation:

The slope of a line passing through points (a,b) and (c,d) is given by :-

m=(d-b)/(c-a)

From the given graph , the line is passing from points (6,33) and (15,15).

Now, the of a line passing through points (6,33) and (15,15) is given by :-

m=(15-33)/(15-6)=(-18)/(9)\\\\\Rightarrow\ m=-2

Hence, the slope of the line = -2
