y = 3x - 18

Explanation:

The line passes through (2,-12) and;

Its parallel to line y = 3x

The slope of our line is 3

Taking another point (x,y) on the line

Slope = change in y ÷ change in x

3 =
(y - -12)/(x - 2)

y + 12 = 3x - 6

y = 3x - 18
