Answer:

you use the Pythagorean theorem (a^2 +b^2 = c^2)

a^2 +17^2 = 19^2

a^2 + 289 = 361

a^2 = 72

a = (square root)72

5^2 + 13^2 = c^2

25 + 169 = c^2

194 = c^2

c= (square root)194

a^2 + 10^2 = 20^2

a^2 + 100 = 400

a^2 = 300

a = (square root) 300

5^2 + 14^2 = c^2

25 + 196 = c^2

221 = c^2

c= (square root) 221

Explanation:

it says to leave it as it's simplest radical form, i can't put a square root on the screen, but put the number inside the radical and leave it like that.
