The slope is 2/3

The rise from one point to another is 2, and the run is 3 and since slope is rise/run, the slope is 2/3

Answer: The slope of the line is:
(2)/(3)

Explanation:

The slope can be calculated with this formula:

m=(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)

You need to choose two points of the line. You can pick the point (6,2) and the point (-6,-6)

You can identify that:

y_2=-6\\y_1=2\\x_2=-6\\x_1=6

Now, you must substitute these values into the formula:

m=(-6-2)/(-6-6)

With this procedure you get that the the slope of the line on the graph is:

m=(-8)/(-12)

m=(2)/(3)
