Remember:

SOH-CAH-TOA

(Sine =
(opposite)/(hypotenuse) - Cos =
(adjacent)/(hypotenuse) - tan =
(opposite)/(adjacent))

For angle H the sin ratio is...

side FG (5) is opposite angle H

side HF (13) is the hypotenuse

so...

sinH =
(5)/(13)

For angle F the sin ratio is...

side HG (12) is opposite angle F

side HF (13) is the hypotenuse

so...

sinF =
(12)/(13)
