Given:

The expression is

(1)/(2)n-(1)/(2)

To find:

The factored form of given expression after factor out the coefficient of the variable term.

Solution:

We have,

(1)/(2)n-(1)/(2)

Here, the coefficient of variable n is
(1)/(2).

It can be written as

=(1)/(2)* n-(1)/(2)* 1

Taking out
(1)/(2) as common factor, we get

=(1)/(2)(n-1)

Therefore, the factored from of given expression is
(1)/(2)(n-1).
