5\ units

we know that

In a translation the shape and dimensions of the figure are not going to change.

therefore

AA'=BB'=CC'=DD'

Find the distance AA'

the formula to calculate the distance between two points is equal to


d=\sqrt{(y2-y1)^(2)+(x2-x1)^(2)}


A(1,5)\\A'(-2.1)

substitute the values


AA'=\sqrt{(1-5)^(2)+(-2-1)^(2)}


AA'=\sqrt{(-4)^(2)+(-3)^(2)}


AA'=√(25)


AA'=5\ units

therefore


BB'=5\ units
