It is given that,

Length = 3 × (width)

⇒ L = 3W → (1)

Also, since perimeter = 64 cm

And perimeter of rectangular garden = 2(L + W) = 64

From equation (1)

2(3W + W) = 64

2 × 4W = 64

⇒ 8W = 64

⇒ W = 8 cm

Putting value in equation (1)

L = 3 × 8 = 24 cm

thus, Length = 24 cm

and, Width = 8 cm
