Why did Western European economies grow faster than Eastern European

Answer: Communism/Free Countries

Explanation: The countries in the eastern area of Europe were controlled by fascism/communists. The western part was all free so you can own items and sell them. In the eastern area everything was owned by the government and you couldn't select what you wanted to be and other things.
