The Answer is -14

If we substitute -14 in the equation as x, -14 ÷ 2 ≈ -7

A negative number divided by a positive number gives us a negative number.

All you need to do to solve this is multiply 2 to both sides. This will cancel out 2 from the denominator and isolate x...

(x)/(2)) = -7 * 2

x = -14
