For this case we have that by definition, the area of the trapezoid is given by:


A = \frac {1} {2} (B + b) * h

Where:

B: It is the major base

b: It is the minor base

h: It's the height

Substituting the values according to the data of the figure:


A = \frac {1} {2} (2.1 + 0.9) * 1.3\\A = \frac {1} {2} (3) * 1.3\\A = \frac {1} {2} * 3.9\\A = 1.95

Thus, the area of the trapezoid is
1.95 m ^ 2
