x^2 - 5 + x + 3 = 180

x^2 + x - 2 = 180

x^2 + x - 182 = 0

(x + 14)(x - 13) = 0

x + 14 = 0 ; x = -14

x -13 = 0; x = 13

Angle can't be negative so answer is x = 13
