Delegated powers are outlined in the US. Constitution and describe the extent of the government ruling over people. These are the powers describing the Congress's responsibility in terms of what it can and cannot do. The delegated powers ensure that the legislature does not act against human rights or limit personal freedom.
The delegated powers include enumerated powers (delegated or expressed powers), inherent powers and implied powers. Examples of delegated powers are the government has the power to provide roads and taxes services, regulates trade, commerce and industries.
