Could anyone help me find the answer to this algebric equation. it needs to be written in mixed expression (x^2-5x+7)/(x-9)

Consider the numerator

x(x - 9) + 9x - 5x + 7

= x(x - 9) + 4x - 7

= x(x - 9) + 4(x - 9) + 36 + 7

= x(x - 9) + 4(x - 9) + 43

quotient = x + 4, remainder = 43

Hence


(x^2-5x+7)/(x-9) = x + 4 +
(43)/(x-9)
