What is difference between local compost and vermicompost?​

Vermicompost contains more nutrients than other forms of compost. Vermicompost is concentrated with high levels of phosphorous and nitrogen, and should be used sparingly. Vermicomposting also creates a concentrated liquid as a by-product of the composting

The major difference between local composts and vermicomposts is that one is done in a sealed bin (and requires the work of decomposers), while the other uses heat to kill microorganisms and disintegrate the trash (local).
