The solution if it’s to find the value of X and Y
Get one variable by itself
2y=6-6X
Divide by 2
Y=3-3x
Then substitute y for 3-3x
7x+3(3-3x)=5
7x+9-9x=5
-2x+9=5
Subtract 9 from each side
-2x=-4
Divide by -2 on each side
X=2 then plug x for 2
7(2)+3y=5
14+3y=5
Subtract 14 on each side
3y=-9
Divide by 3 on each side
Y=-3

X=2 Y=-3
