Multiply the bracket by 4

4(x)+6+3+7= 17

4x+6+10=17

4x+16= 17

4x+16-16= 17-16

4x= 1

divide by 4 for 4x and 1

4x/4= 1/4

x= 1/4 or in decimal form , x= 0.25

Check answers by using substitution method:

4(1/4)+6+3+7= 17

1+9+7= 17

17= 17

Answers can be x= 1/4 or x= 0.25
