Just so L*W*H=24(36)(30)= 25920 cubic inches=25920 (1 in*1 in* 1 in)

36 in=1 yd

so

1 in =1/36 yd

do divide 25920 by (36*36*36)

The answer in cubic yards is 5/9 cubic yards
