I think the best answer would be A. Take notes while you read. Taking notes envelopes you in the text and makes you think about what you’re reading. This allows you to get more out of the text.

Tv and music distract you from reading, as it is difficult to do multiple things at once.

Stopping reading would get you nowhere, just putting off what you should be doing. Thus, it’s reasonable to take notes when reading a passage to minimize distractions.
