Answer: the product of transcription is RNA, while the product if translation is polypeptide amino acid chain which form a protein

Answer:

Transcription can be defined as the process by which the the information from the DNA is copied to messenger RNA for the protein synthesis. This process takes place in nucleus.

We can say the product of Transcription is mRNA.

The process by which the information is used to build protein is known translation. Protein synthesis takes place in the cytoplasm.

The product of translation is protein.
