Once you ingest fats ( like a lipid ) it gets broken down by the hydraulic acid in our stomach and also gets broken down into tiny molecules in our small intestine. The cells that line the small intestine tings it to the blood stream. That fat can be broken down by the body even more to get energy or muscles store in the fat.

Answer: When fats – also known as triglycerides – are consumed, the human body breaks it down to pass it into the blood stream. At that point it is either burned for energy or stored for future use. When fat is ingested, it is stored in fat cells known as adipocytes.
