Does Interphase have stages?

Because... a certain search site says "3 stages" or "4 stages" but then my textbook says "critical events"

I need desperate help.

Answer:

No, interphase does not have stages.

Step-by-step explanation:

The cell cycle has 3 phases: Interphase, Mitosis, and Cytokinesis. Interphase is the longest phase. During that stage, the cell grows to its full size and duplicates its DNA. These steps are not counted as stages.

Sorry if this is wrong, this is just what my teach taught me.
