Answer:

19.55 m to the nearest hundredth.

Explanation:

The circumference of the circle = 2 π r

2* π * 8

= 16π meters.

The angle RAC = 180-40 = 140 degrees.

As there are 360 degrees in a circle the length of arc RC is

(140/360) * 16 π

= 19.55 m to the nearest hundredth.
