1) Carnivores live in forests because it an ideal habitat for them and they prey they hunt. Carnivores feed on herbivores, and they feed on plants. Forests also contain many species of insects which are also among the prey of smaller predators.

2) Carnivores are animals that eat other animals. Their presence in the forest is essential for three reasons: They help in transferring energy from one trophic level to another in a food chain. i.e they transfer the energy stored in the animal they eat into themselves to the next level who consume them.

\huge\purple{Hi!}

most carnivore live in forest because

  1. They are highly dependent on flesh for their food and therefore their food is easily available in forests.
  2. Small animals live in forests that make it the ideal habitat for carnivores.
  3. Carnivores help in maintaining the herbivore population at a healthy level, by hunting.
  4. It all helps in keeping ecosystems in balance.
