Given A (-3, -2)

T= (x+5, y-3)

T= (-3+5, -2-3)

T=(2,-5)

Applying the translation on;

A( -3,-2)

A' (-3+2, -2+ -5)

A'= (-1, -7)

Distance

\sqrt { X2-X1)^2 + (Y2-Y1)^2

A = (-3,-2) and A'(-1, -7)

d=√ (-1--3)² + (-7--2)²

d=√ (2)²+(-5)²

d=√4+25

d=√29
