If you were to become a parent as a teenager, what kind of challenges do you think you would face?

Multiple ones.

1). Finances. Some people might not realize this, but children ARE EXPENSIVE. They need diapers and baby food. You think a house is expensive? Double that by 20 plus

2). Judgement. People would instantly judge a teen mother. But what's messed up, is that they don't anything about it. The mother could have been raped, yet everyone just assumes things.

3). Had a child? Good luck trying to manage school or a job. It's impossible to stay in school most of the time. Being a mom is a 24/hour job.

Although, people shouldn't get pregnant when they are a teenager, it doesn't mean we should shame them. They made a mistake, we all do.

depending on the person but me personally I believe a big challenge would be having to balance school , work and time with the baby. a big worry would be even if I'm making enough money to support us. another thing would be the situation of the family; having to accept possible criticism or the "boyfriend" even being there for you.
