4x-3(x-2)=21

4x-3x+6=21

4x-3x=21-6

x=15

For this case we have the following expression, we must find the value of the variable "x":

4x-3 (x-2) = 21

We apply distributive property to the terms of the parenthesis taking into account that:

- * + = -\\- * - = +\\4x-3x + 6 = 21

We add similar terms:

x + 6 = 21

We subtract 6 on both sides of the equation:

x = 21-6\\x = 15

Now, the value of x is 15

Answer:

x = 15
