Can someone please help me it would mean a lot!

3x - 4 = 6 + x

Explanation:

3x-4=6+x

You want to get x by itself. So, you would subtract x from the right side, and subtract it from 3x. That gives you this:

2x-4=6

Now you would add 4 to cancel out on the left side, then add it to the 6. This gives you:

2x=10

Now divide 2 from both sides and that gives you what x equals.

x=5
