Why is it important to research and plan your artwork before beginning on any project

Hey,

This one is pretty self explanatory. I as an artist, (i paint, and draw), figured out that its better to plan out your piece before starting it, because if you have no plan on hand, you will have unexpected errors, and your piece wont look organized. For instance if painting a random picture, you should start planning to paint the background, that way your strikes wont be visible so much.

It is important to map out what you are doing so you know which direction you are heading when you do your project. You should take your time researching and planning so you can end with the best results when you finish your project!
