Answer:

(x - 4)/(x - 3)

Explanation:

\frac{ {x}^(2) - 8x + 16 }{ {x}^(2) - 7x + 12}

Lets split the numerator and denominator.

= > \frac{ {x}^(2) - 4x - 4x + 16}{ {x}^(2) - 3x - 4x + 12}

Lets factorise the numerator and denominator.

= > (x(x - 4) - 4(x - 4))/(x(x - 3) - 4(x - 3))

= > ((x - 4)(x - 4))/((x - 3)(x - 4))

Cancelling x - 4 from numerator and denominator ,

= > (x - 4)/(x - 3)
