Once there was a poor man named Maverick, he decided to go to the great city in search of a job. He had a long and hard journey ahead of him. The city was very far from his small village and he had no transportation. All Maverik had with him was a small bag full of his most valuable possessions.
As Maverik was passing by a forest, the sky suddenly became overcast with dark clouds and started pouring. He scrambled for shelter looking for any place to rest his legs and get out of this awful rain.
Water dripped from his dark long hair, the mud from his tan skin fell away as the precipitation hit him.
In the distance a faint light shone, Maverik ran towards it, slipping on the wet grass.
As he got closer to the light he noticed it was a small encampment of huts. He ran towards the first hut hoping someone will take pity on him and let him in. Maverik pounded on the door, begging anyone to hear him. The door creaked open and a small frail woman stood in the door frame.
“Hello my boy, come in. Get out of that dreadful rain”
