In the case when you move outwards from a tree so there would be more growth, the reasons are as follows:

1. The block i.e. left and light near tree permits lesser photosynthesis as in the tree

2. But if you move outwards so there would be more light

3. Also it permit plants to photosynthesis that generates greater amount of glucose and proteins for growth
