20% of $500 = 100$ so we take off 100.

And we take off $50 because it was out of the box and slightly scratched.

So result is $500 - $100 = $400
$400-$50 = $350

Answer = $350

Equation:
Let’s say
500=X
100=Y
50=Z
And answer = A

A=X-(Y-Z)

I hope this will be helpful
