Explanation:

volume = length x width x height

For the top half i use the formula for the area of a triangle (area = base x height ÷ 2), which results in 45. times it 10 and you have 450³ which is the volume of the top part.

For the bottom half it is just 10 x 10 x 10 = 1000³

450³+1000³=1450³
